Why the offer is not always there

A cash-out is a live quote tied to a live market, so it can pause, disappear or expire between one look and the next. This page sets out the states the offer can be in, why each one happens, and what it means for a bet that is still open — so that a greyed-out button reads as an explained condition rather than a fault.

Offer 01

01The four states of the offer

The offer is never simply on or off. It is available, momentarily paused, withdrawn for a reason, or expired because the quote you were looking at has been replaced. Knowing which one you are in explains both the button and the wait.

Available

The market is live and the operator will stand behind a price. A quote appears, with a short life.

Paused

A temporary suspension: a goal, a review, a stoppage, a delay. The offer usually returns within seconds or minutes.

Withdrawn

The position cannot be priced or is not eligible: a void or abandoned selection, thin liquidity, an amount below the minimum, or ineligible funds.

Expired

The quote you saw has been superseded by a new price. Refreshing gives a fresh number, not the same one.

A greyed-out button is information

It means the market state does not currently support a price the operator will stand behind. It is not a judgement about your bet, and it is not a permanent state unless the position itself has become unpricable.

Offer 02

02Why each one happens

The reasons line up with the single requirement behind every quote: the operator must be able to price the risk and manage its book. Anything that breaks that ability pauses or removes the offer.

SUSPENDEDThe market is paused for an event — a goal, a wicket, a point review, a stoppage, a weather delay. No price can be stood behind while the outcome of the immediate moment is unknown.
VOIDThe selection or the event has been voided or abandoned, so there is no live position to price and the bet will be settled under the operator’s abandonment rules instead.
LIQUIDThe market is too thin to hedge reliably. The offer narrows sharply, appears only in some moments, or does not appear at all.
MINIMUMThe available amount falls below the operator’s floor — often after a previous partial exit — so a further slice is not offered.
FUNDSBonus or free-bet funds that are not eligible for cash-out, or a bet type excluded from it, remove the offer even though the bet itself is live.
Offer 03

03What it means for a bet that is still open

If the offer is paused or withdrawn and you have not accepted anything, nothing has happened to your bet: it is still open, at its original price, with its original potential return. The absence of the offer changes nothing about the position — it only removes an option you were not obliged to use.

That is worth saying plainly, because a greyed-out button can feel like a decision being made about you. It is not. It is the same position, with one exit temporarily unavailable.

Auto cash-out and insurance

What happens when you do not press the button yourself: a target amount, and a separate product that insures the stake instead.

Affiliate disclosure and risk warning

Every affiliate link on this page and in the header is a sponsored link to a partner operator, and we may be paid if you open an account through it, at no extra cost to you. That link pays us; it does not improve any decision, it is not a ranking, and it is never a recommendation to play. Nothing on this page is betting, financial or tax advice, and nothing here is a prediction about any event or market, or a view on any operator. 18+ only. Every stake is money at risk and can be lost in full. The mechanics explained here — how a cash-out offer is priced from the position and the current market, why the offer sits below the fair value of that position, how a partial cash-out splits a bet, when the offer is withdrawn, how auto cash-out and bet insurance differ from a manual cash-out, and what accepting an offer does to the original bet and the ledger — are general descriptions of how those mechanisms usually work, not a statement of the terms, prices or rules that apply to you: the arithmetic, the availability and the terms of a cash-out differ between operators, markets, sports and jurisdictions and change over time, and an offer you accept is priced by the operator, not by this site. This page does not name any operator and is not a substitute for the operator’s terms or advice from a qualified adviser. Nothing here is a way to guarantee an outcome, a way to turn a cash-out into free money, or a way around any operator’s terms, any self-exclusion or any law. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose, never borrow to play, and never chase losses with a larger stake.
